Grow Rewards, Build Your Own Forest – Welcome to Pointree!

Pointree is a unique app that transforms managing loyalty cards into an engaging and rewarding adventure. Instead of simply tracking points, it gamifies the experience by letting users grow virtual trees as they earn rewards from different stores.

As you collect points, your trees flourish, gradually expanding into a lush, vibrant forest city. This interactive approach not only makes loyalty programs more enjoyable but also adds a sense of accomplishment to everyday shopping.

With Pointree, managing rewards is no longer just a routine task—it’s an exciting journey of growth and discovery.

My Role

As a UI designer, I created the Pointree elves and contributed to the app’s overall interface design. I collaborated closely with front-end developers, motion designers, and project managers to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.

Design Works

As a designer, I created the Tree Elves—a set of 50 playful characters that served as companions for different stores. As users collected points, their elves grew and evolved alongside the virtual forest. Each character’s shape, colors, and expressions were tailored to reflect its brand while keeping a fun, cohesive style.

I focused on making the design scalable and adaptable, ensuring smooth evolution with engaging micro-interactions. Working with motion designers, I refined animations to give each elf a distinct personality, and I collaborated with front-end developers to seamlessly integrate them into the app. More than just decoration, the Tree Elves became the heart of Pointree, turning reward collection into a lively, interactive, and fun experience.
