Effective information design captures attention and makes ideas easy to understand. By choosing the right medium—whether an infographic, website, or other format—you can communicate messages clearly and memorably.
My Role
I joined Taiwan’s first information design company as a founding designer, helping drive its early growth. I worked with clients across different industries to turn complex information into clear, engaging designs that communicated messages more effectively.
Social Design & Infographics
These selected works highlight my focus on social impact. Through real-world collaborations with clients, I developed infographics that not only explained information but also made it accessible and meaningful to diverse audiences.
My First Piece:
The True Story of Lili Elbe – The First Recorded Transgender Person in History. Lili Elbe sought to live as her true self and underwent experimental surgery in the early 20th century, becoming the first fully documented recipient of gender-affirming surgery.

Design Concept
Lili Elbe’s story is one of courage and resilience. As the first recorded transgender person in history, she longed to live as her true self and be with the person she loved. In the early 20th century, she made the bold choice to undergo experimental surgeries, enduring immense physical and emotional challenges to become the woman she had always envisioned.
Her journey reminded me of the Little Mermaid—both gave up everything in pursuit of love and identity. Inspired by this connection, I incorporated visual elements from the sea—waves, seaweed, and bubbles—to bring Lili’s story to life in a world that feels both dreamlike and deeply human.

Key Influences on Lili’s Life Decisions
This section highlights the people who had a significant impact on Lili Elbe’s journey, showing how they influenced her at different stages of life. It visually connects key figures with the ages and years when they mattered most, offering insight into how her identity, choices, and path were shaped over time.
Colors of Seaweed
This section explores Lili Elbe’s evolving sense of self, from her early years to her groundbreaking gender-affirming surgeries. It emphasizes pivotal moments, personal struggles, and societal challenges, illustrating her courageous journey toward living as her true self.

Life and Self-Identity
This timeline highlights key moments in Lili Elbe’s life, showcasing her personal growth, important influences, and evolving sense of identity. The small bean-shaped element on the right symbolizes the gradual transformation of her gender identity, reflecting her journey of self-discovery and change.
My Second Piece:
Children’s Illustration Book – A Big Issue in the Happy Doll Factory
This project uses playful, engaging illustrations to introduce children to the concept of gender. Through the story of a doll factory facing an unexpected challenge, it encourages young readers to explore ideas about gender identity, diversity, and inclusion in an accessible and thoughtful way.
Collaboration with Diversity: I worked with ISTSCare as a graphic designer to develop the story and ensure the information was accurate. The project aimed to promote inclusivity, fostering a society that embraces diversity and respects individual differences.
In the Happy Doll Factory,
the robot Didi encounters a big problem.
How will it solve it?

My Third Piece:
Referendum Challenges in Taiwan – Motion Design
Design Concept
Proposing a referendum in Taiwan as a civilian is a complex, time-consuming process. It involves three lengthy stages across multiple legislative institutions and one critical rule: for a referendum to be valid, more than 50% of voters must participate. Given these challenges, finding ways to make the system more accessible is essential.
To make this issue easier to understand, I collaborated with a motion designer and Taiwan March, a group of human rights lawyers, to create an engaging video that raises awareness about the referendum process. The video has reached over 3.3K viewers.
The Structure of Referendum Rules in Taiwan
Stage 1 Collect 100,000 signatures on a paper petition.
Stage 2 The proposal must be reviewed and approved by the public scrutiny committee.
Stage 3 Gather 1,000,000 signatures on paper petitions within six months.
Referendum Approval Criteria: A majority of eligible voters must participate, with voter turnout exceeding 50%.
My Fourth Piece:
The Best Way to Kill a Bill – Interactive Game Website
Design Concept
Passing a bill is a difficult and time-consuming process. This interactive online game lets users experience the challenges of the legislative process in a simple, engaging way.

Forest in the Sea: Taiwan Coral Reef Health Inspection Project
Marine Life in Taiwan’s Coral Reefs
Taiwan’s coral reef ecosystems are highly diverse, home to a wide variety of corals, fish, and invertebrates. However, these fragile environments face significant challenges, making their protection crucial for preserving biodiversity.
